EXTERN AIR-CONNEX
All DAN SKAN fire-view stoves have a provision for a connection pipe to draw in outside air as combustion air. This outside air is led through the rear convection part of the stove where it is preheated by “heat contact” before entering the burning chamber.
EX-AIR-1
EXTERN AIR-CONNEX 1
Well-proven, classical outside air intake with a connection to the inside
air via the convection part of the stove. By means of this connection to
the inside air an excessive negative pressure in the stove installation room is
avoided. Diameter of the connection pipe (AS / ASK) = 100 mm.
The outside air intake duct must be fitted with a flap valve which may be opened and closed manually or electrically.
AIR-BOX
EXTERN AIR-CONNEX 2
The EX-AIR-2 system requires the installation of the patented AIR-BOX with an integrated “heat-contact” exchanger. This system is especially suitable for modern low-energy houses with high-seal window and door elements. This is installed in the rear convection part of the DAN SKAN stove.
D.S. PATENT:
AIR BOX + HEAT CONTACT + TERTIARY AUTOMATIC
AIR-BOX-A = Adapter-Modell, with back tube
AIR-BOX-B = Basic-Modell, with basic opening
In the case of houses with a room ventilation system or a heat recovery system a pressure compensation safety facility must be provided in the building to ensure that the negative pressure in the stove installation room does not exceed the negative pressure in the flue pipe and is lower than 4 Pa wherever possible ! The flue pipe must also be capable of leading off flue gases when stocking up the burning chamber with fuel.
The air intake opening in the floor below the stove should be situated wherever possible along the mid-axis of the stove plan section and should have a diameter of at least 100 mm.
